China's iron ore port stocks keep climbing slowly

The arrivals of imported iron ore at the 45 surveyed ports retreated from high last week, with the volume falling by 4.9 million tonnes or 17.3% on week to 23.4 million tonnes during January 6-12.
Imported iron ore stocks had risen for the third straight week to 150.6 million tonnes as of January 16, though the weekly increase was smaller at 530,900 tonnes or 0.4%, according to the latest survey results.
