Prior to the Spring Festival, there was a modest cumulative increase in the social inventory of welded pipes across the country.
Survey data from 61 major steel warehouses shows: By Jan. 23, the national social inventory of welded pipes was1.3511 million tons, up 0.08% week-on-week and 2.02% month-on-month.
In the week before the Spring Festival, pipe mills and traders took holidays, the market closed gradually. Across categories, all social inventories increased, with galvanized pipes seeing the biggest rise of 0.79% and straight-seam welded round pipes the smallest at 0.08%.
